A: It is recommended by the American Optometric Association to have your eyes examined once a year.
Q: At what age should my child get their eyes checked?
A: It is recommended to have your child’s eyes examined at or around the age of six months, then again around the age of 3. Starting at age 5, your child should be having yearly comprehensive eye examinations.
Q: I’ve scheduled my eye appointment, what should I bring with me?
A: It is recommended you bring your current pair of glasses, even if they are broken. If you have your contact lens boxes or information, bring that as well. Please do not sleep in your contact lenses the night before your appointment. Also, be sure to bring your detailed medical history and a list of your medications.
Q: How long does it take to get my glasses or contact lenses?
A: It typically takes 7-10 business days to receive your new glasses. For contact lens exams, we usually will have trial pairs in stock that you can go home with that same day. We also have a large selection of contact lens brands in stock if you want to purchase your boxes that day. If your prescription is not in stock, then it typically takes 7-10 business days to receive your boxes.
